Just curious where to start troubleshooting this. The ice maker goes through its cycle, but water never goes into it to get frozen. There is no filter on this refrigerator. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This has been a FANTASTIC refrigerator for us. Over 10 years old and this is the first significant issue we've had!!

Hello,

Make sure the water tube which comes into the ice maker is not blocked with ice inside. If it is, defrost it using a hair dryer.

Locate the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator and swap the wires between the solenoids. You can use an insulated wires to connect the plug to the small terminals.

Push the water dispenser lever for a few seconds and check for water in the ice maker.

if there is water, replace the ice maker.

If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve.
