I have a refrigerator with controller 8201658 (your part AP3672579). Problem is the evaporator fan runs contantly and the baffle door stays open. I've tested the thermocouples and they both read close to the charted data (i.e. 3.5K ohms at 69 F, 8.5K at 32 and 22.5K at 5 F).
I've put controller in diagnostic mode and it shows sensors OK, it turns the evap fan on and off, and the baffle door modulates open and closed.
I concluded must be a bad controller so I replaced it but the problem remains. :-(
I've tried swapping the sensors, extending the fridge sensor into the freezer, all kinds of things but can't figure it out.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi.

You did what I would of done. There are only control board, air baffle, 2 thermistors and wire harness.
Check the harness for continuity, and replace other parts one by one ("shot gun" technology).
You can return any parts that you don't need, even if you installed them.
Or call the really good pro and let him take you pain away.

Remove the back freezer panel and describe the frost pattern, partial frost, or heavy, complete frost.
