my upright freezer is developing a sheet of ice on the bottom, it appears it is unable to drain. i defrosted the freezer and poured water down the drain & it appears to be working fine. i restarted the freezer and it was fine for a couple of months and now i noticed a sheet of ice again on the bottom. obviously, i am doing something to cause this, but unable to figure out what. can this happen if the freezer is too full? thank you

Hi.

Try to install the drain heater Part number: 819043
Part number: 819043

It should keep the drain open during the defrost cycle.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and System parts for Frigidaire FFU20FK0DW1 - AppliancePartsPros.com

Simon.
