ice maker not getting water. i have replace water solenoid,water switch,checked other switches and thermostat. looking like fridge may become new rifle target. any ideas as everything else works fine?

Hi Eddie,

Did you check the water feeding tube coming into the ice maker? It could be frozen up.

You can use a hair dryer to defrost it.

If there is an inline water filter on the back of the fridge - how old is it? If it is more then a year old, it could be clogged, causing a restriction.

If this is not the issue then the ice maker itself is bad.

- The part number for the ice maker is AP3853272
