Just moved the unit to a new house. It tripped a breaker during the night. When I re-plug it back in it instantly trips the breaker. I rotated the 10hr defrost timer and got it going only to have the same problem occur the next night. What is shunting/shorting out? Where can I test for correct voltages?
Thanks.

Just so someone else will learn from my woes. I just noticed my old post now in 2012. Anyhow, the cause was the refrig was in the laundry room where it was plugged into one of those damn GFCI outlets. I had put them everywhere when building the house, and they are horrible! They may save your live, but that's about it. They do not work with many items. My power vent hot water heater tank had problems too until I pulled it off the GFCI outlet.
