My power was recently restored after the recent snow/ice storms that hit our area. Had a total thaw in the freezer and fridge. The several power surges before and as it was restored may have affected the ice maker, just not sure. I did notice last night it will cycle completely but fails to fill the unit with water. I have raised the arm for now to keep it off until I can get it repaired. The freezer is at zero and fridge about 36-38.

Not really sure how to troubleshoot this one. I read several posts in the forum, but could not determine which applied to my brand and model.

This site has been a Godsend as I have been disabled for many a year and have always been a fix it myself type of person. Every time I have posted, the answers always have helped me repair each Frigidaire product that is in our house! I appreciate all the input and feedback as I miss my daily ice.

*UPDATE*

Had a power outage for 1 minute yesterday evening and now the ice maker is working - kinda. ice has some water in it as it is being cycled to early. I can handle that just do not know when it is going to die again.

Ideas to trouble shoot a semi-working unit?
