Overnight my refrigerator stopped cooling and everything thawed. The frig is 8 years old. The Compressor fan is on, the compressor is running but is humming louder than normal. The compressor is warm, but not hot, outside temp of compressor housing is 85. The fan inside freezer is on. The coils in the freezer are cool, but no frost. The temp inside the freezer is at 62. Anyone have any thoughts? Dont know if it would be more expensive to call someone out or buy a new one.

If the compressor is vibrating you probably have sealed system problems. If not, replace the start device 2319792
