We moved our fridge into our dining room for a week while the wood floors in our kitchen were refinished. The fridge was not connected to a water source for the week. (I don't know if I turned off the ice maker or not!) When I moved the fridge back into the kitchen and reconnected the water source, the ice maker won't work.
I've confirmed that the ice maker is cycling correctly, that there is water to the ice maker fill valve, and that the valve itself works for 7.5 seconds when it is supposed to in the fill cycle. Water runs through the fill line to the top of the fridge where it enters the back of the ice maker (I disconnected this line to make sure and water dispensed into a bowl just fine), but no water is dispensed into the ice cube mold. Heater works, thermostat bi-strip closes, etc. The only problem appears to not be able to get water into the cube mold.
Suggestions?
Thanks! Gib Colorado
