My side by side freezer is working fine but the fresh food section is not holding temp. I took the evap fan housing off the cabinet and in the process it started working. I put it back and now it will work until it reaches temp, then it turns off, but on the next cycle on it will not blow...at this point if I tap or bump the housing it will make almost a timer sound for a few seconds and then kick on...any suggestions?

Your back panel might be jaming the fan blade. I would keep the panel off temporarily and see if it works reliably. If not, remove the motor. If a 115 volt motor, stick it in the wall outlet. If it then still fails, replace the motor.
