Refrige water dipenser leaks. Not the valve!
Kenmore "Coldspot" water dipenser leaks. Already disconnected water line from the rear water inlet valve, actuated the switch and water comes out. Released the switch and the water stops immediately(no leaks from the valve).
My question: is there anything in the mechanics of the dipenser that could cause the leak? (The line appears clean with no air) Also, the leak varies from just an occasional drip to a constant drip. Other times there is no drip at all. |
Air in the line can cause this but if that is not the case I would say replace the water valve even though it passed the test you done. Air in the line is most often caused by a leak check the water reservoir in the fresh food section to make sure it is not leaking or anywhere else.
