Model Number: TPX24PPBE BB Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
How does a man get the face plate off of the front of the door (freezer side) to access the slide control for cube or crushed ice? GE model TPX24PPBB BE. I have neither, I can move the control lever ever so slowly and you can hear it trying to do something. I have already removed ice maker and checked (with a meter) the solenoid. I do believe the problem lies in the switch control, but I don't know how to take it apart with-out destroying it. Any help would be greatly welcome. Thank you in advance.
