Model Number: GSS25QSTASS Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
No water is being dispensed from the door. There is just a hum when I engage the switch. It is making ice just fine, so I assume the water line and filter is OK. No detectable leaks anywhere. Thinking the tank next to the crisper may be frozen, I turned the fridge off and opened the door for a few hours, no luck.
Any guideance would be greatly appreciated! Ads By Google Related Models |

Hi.
Pull off the bottom grill, locate the coupling connecting water tube on the left near the freezer door hinge. Take one side off and press the water lever. If the water will come through the water line inside the freezer door is frozen. Defrost the fridge for 24 hrs with door open. If the water is not getting through - first check if the water line in the back of the fridge isn't broken, then remove the cover and check the water tank. If it's frozen - use the blow dryer to defrost it. Be careful not to melt anything. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Fresh Food Section parts for GE GSS25QSTASS - AppliancePartsPros.com Post the results. Simon.
