Icemaker over-filling
Model Number: GSS201EPD WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The icemaker over-filled resulting in ice clogging fill trough and down back of compartment. Removed components and defrosted, after re-assembly, icemaker cycled twice normally. The next fill cycle, seemed to fill multiple times in a row, fill, pause for less than a minute fill again, and again. Is the fill cycle/valve controlled by the icemaker unit itself or by the main computer board for the refrig/freezer?
