I get water at the door but it doesnt make ice. They are doing construction in our neighborhood and broke a water main and after the water was back on it started making ice for a few cycles and then quit. I also shut the water off at the main to repair a leak in the water line in the front yard and once again it started making ice after I turned the water back on but only for a few cycles. Any suggestions?

Hi. Wait until the icemaker stop making ice. Switch arownd the solenoid plugs at the water inlet valve(at the rear of the refrigerator) and push the water lever at the dispenser. If the icemaker fills up - it's a bad icemaker. If not- replace the water valve. It seems to me that the water inlet valve is a guilty party. Part number: W10245167
Post the results. Simon.
