My GE TBX18IAZKRWW (top freezer) fridge is leaking copious amounts of water intermittently onto the floor, in front of the unit. The drain line (J-tube) and evaporator pan are bone dry. I pulled off the rubber boot which connects the drain tube (J-tube) to what appears to be a plastic nipple inside the back of the unit to see if the drain line (J-tube) or fitting it connects to were blocked in any way. I assume the plastic nipple inside the unit is part of the compartment separator (between upper freezer and lower fridge), but I cannot seem to find any exploded parts diagram online that shows this. The drain pans I see only indicate a hole, but no plastic nipple or other (male) fitting that would connect to the (female) rubber boot.
Is this part missing from all the parts diagrams, or is it integral to the drain pan (but not shown)?
Any help before I pull this unit all apart would be appreciated.
