Customer says it runs for two days or so them quits and get's warm. After unplugging it for a day or so she plugges it back in and runs fine for another period of time. A service tech said it's a bad compressor but i have a very hard time accepting that from pats experiences with compressoers. Could this be a bad Defrost timer or control PCB?

Hi.

This model doesn't have a PCB. It has a cold control and defrost timer.
To answer your question I need much more detailed symptoms.
Does the fridge stops completely or runs but not cooling?
Is there a snow build up at the evaporator cover?

Simon.

Check the compressor and condensing fan motor in the back when it fails. Is the compressor cold and condensing fan running, or both cold?
