saw someone else had an issue, i have attached a picture of my compressor on my refrigerator. is this a lost cause to repair? it does not cool at all.

Hi,

Interesting photo. Can't say I have ever seen one that bad. If you have a sealed system leak it's probably not worth repairing unless it's under warranty.

Thanks, I cannot figure where the leak is and what it is. its like glue. Fridge has a mfg date of 2004 so its not too old.. guess its time for a new one.
