LG French door Won't make ice
Model Number: LFX31915ST Brand: -other- Age: 1 - 5 years
I have my LG in door Ice maker connected to a 5 gallon Poland Spring bottle and use an electric pump to pump water to ice maker and water dispenser. During Hurrican Sandy, lost power and had refridge connected to generator, unfortunately I forgot about the pump and never put power to it. So I suppose the ice maker was trying to make Ice but couldn't get water. Once the power came back I realized the ice maker no longer worked, when I turn it off and on there is a click a short hum and it looks like the tray is trying to turn to dump ice but thats it, it just stops and nothing else happens. Any idea of what the problem is?
