Model Number: 795.51024.012 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
Hello,
I have come across a Kenmore 795.51024.012 that is non functional. The main board is dead. Traces on the main buss on the bottom of board is melted in two locations. the trace that melted is a very thin copper material which can be fixed with tin strips and solder. The problem is that even after a fix it just burns in a different location. I replaced the board once already and it burned in exactly the same location, right before the on board fuse bank under the relay sets. I repaired the second boards trace and the machine worked fine until i attempt a functional check on the door components and then the trace fried again. Please advise if there is information to be had it would be greatly appreciated. There is not much money left to fix this before it's cheaper just to replace. things tested already and come up good from ohm checks and functional checks. compressor thermistor overload protection ice maker both cyloniods for door water and ice refill lights inside all work If there is a way to load images to the site I can supply them. I do work on low voltage equipment but never appliances. Thank you for your time, Muldune Ads By Google Related Models |
