I have a Signature Deluxe Freezer bought from Montgomery Wards which is at least 30 years old. A lot of ice buildup is occuring at the top inside edge of freezer (around the light bulb, and the top and first shelf of freezer. This is not a self-defrosting freezer. The bottom plastic panel across the inside edge of the freezer is cracked, and the right side edge panel dones not stay easily in place.

Is this freezer so old and inefficient that I should consider replacing it or is it worth repairing?

Can you help me with this? What parts might I need?

What is the cubic foot capacity of this freezer?

I do not think that any parts for this unit are still available and it's not worth any repair because such freezers today are very inexpensive.

Gene.
