This past week our ice maker started having large chunks in the ice bin. There is a foam clip that keeps coming off of the bottom of the ice tray. It has a new water filter since this started and tonight i noticed that only 1 side of the ice tray is dumping ice out ,then when it fills the tray water is running over into the ice bin. Is the maker bad or whats going on. Thanks

Did it show any error code on the ice maker control display?

Run the diagnostic service mode as described in the attached file and post the results.
