Whirlpool Gold Side by Side Water Leak
Model Number: GD5NVAXSY01 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Side by side Whirlpool refrigerator / freezer with ice & water dispenser. Noticed water coming out of bottom of refrigerator and found the leak at the "solenoids". Appears water is coming from the solenoids - not the plastic connection to them. Do I have to replace the whole solenoid system and circuit board they are attached to? How do I un-attach the plastic lines to and from the solenoids? Thank you.

Hi.
If the body of the water valve is leaking you need a new water valve Part number: W10159839 To remove the tube press the sleeve around it and pull the tube out.To install it back push it in all the way.
