My freezer is snowing and everything is hard as a brick, and fridge is too warm-dairy going bad. Already replaced the heater coil. What could be wrong

Remove the rear panel inside the freezer and check how the evaporator coils are covered with frost. Post the results.

I found the coil on the diagram, but it doesn't show where it is. Please tell me where to find it. Is it in the freezer, or on the outside of the freezer? Thank you

I found it if it's in front of the defrost heater, which we replaced and Yes it's covered with ice.

How it's covered? Normally it suppose to be a thin layer.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Yes it's just a thin layer. Also the vent that goes from the freezer to the fridge was blocked with ice. My husband pored hot, salty water through it and it's no longer blocked. What do you think?

Most likely there is nothing wrong with the defrost system. That frozen vent definitely caused a warm temperature in the refrigerator. Make sure the doors are sealed properly and no doors left ajar.

So far the fridge is much better, but the freezer is still covering with ice and frosting, although its a frost-free freezer. I also have the dial set to the warmest. I'm also concerned that the vent might clog up again.
