Model Number: PFSF6PKXEWW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a GE model PFSF6PKXEWW fridge. i found water inside the main fridge. I traced it back to the assembly cover motor dampener. i removed that and found water inside. it appears to be actually coming down a vent behind the motor dampener inside an air vent. please help me figure out where the water is coming from so i can stop it.

Hi.
The first thing to check is the refrigerator door gasket. See if it's sealing good. Is the fridge temperature OK? Simon.

seals are fine. holds temp great. i pulled assembly 97 form inside the main compartment, and yes, the drain was iced over. i cleared it out by chipping and flushing hot water through it until it woudl run straight through. then i put it all back together. about an hour later, a larege amount of water was colected at the bottom again under the deli tray. it was coming out of part 120, and the back of part 121 was soaked. please help.

Remove the evaporator cover (#97 at the diagram). Make sure that the heat tab is inserted into the drain tray outlet.
Pull the refrigerator out of the wall and remove the cover from the unit compartment. Make sure that the fresh food drain tube (look at the attached picture) is not clogged. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for GE PFSF6PKXEWW Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.
