The wine cellar works fine including maintaining correct temperatures for several days. Then it stops cooling. The only way to restart it is unplug from the power and plug it back in. This will reset it and it will again begin to cool until this happens again. Could this be the overload protector? How can I troubleshoot it?

Your model number is not complete.
Kenmore numbers should be 3 numbers, a period and the 6 to 8 more numbers.

If the unit uses an electronic control board then that is you most likely cause.

Here is the full model number from the sticker on the back of the unit: 564.13485100. Also located a diagram on the Sears parts site, it does appear to have a circuit board part number 302789.
