ice maker dispenser not opening

Model Number: MZD2766GEW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years

The flapper in the door ice dispenser tab broke. I replaced but now the flapper isn't opening and closing. I saw on this site there is a spring somewhere and I think I might have done something when I replaced the flapper. Is there a diagram or photo of the assembly of this unit?
