HELP! my fridge light inside my LG 21760 FD wont go out!

The light inside the fridge won't go out. We discovered this when we opened the door, & the light fixture in the ceiling inside was hanging down because it had melted the plastic case! I have since replaced both plunger switches on the doors, but to no avail. Can anyone help me here?
