Model Number: GSH25JFRFWW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
My freezer got warmer and warmer, I found the evaporator in a frozen block. I thawed it and replaced the temp sensor attached to the top of the evap line. A couple months later it happened again, so I thawed it and restarted. Then it started freezing up more often. I ohmed the evap heater, and it was 26 ohms, seemingly fine. I Ohmed the 3 thermisters, and the one clipped onto the evap line varried a lot, from 9k to 20k, the other two seemed ok, 15.9k to 16.3k. I ordered a new thermister, and thawed the evap again with a heat lamp. When I plugged the fridge back in after thawing it, the main board kept making a clicking noise, and the fan would continuiously start and stop. now the fan won't come on at all, and the main board just clicks when it's plugged in. There are no visable burn marks on the board. Help!
