Model Number: ed5ghexnl00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
The water delivery seems to have too much pressure & water splashes over the icemaker tray & down into the ice bin. I have to clean out the resulting chunk of ice about every 2 weeks. I have turned the supply line valve to nearly off to try to reduce the pressure. I also currently have a frigidaire side by side & that icemaker has no such problem. Is there a pressure regulator adjustment in the unit to lower the water pressure? There also seems to be too much pressure from the water dispenser.
