Ice maker taking a long time to empty
Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
I have a new ice maker (3 months old ) and over the weenend it started acting up. It takes forever for it to empty ice. The water goes in like it is suppose to and the water becomes ice. However the maker takes a long time to empty. What can I do about this?

Check your freezer temperature, should be around 0 degrees F.
The water will freeze but the ice make mold must get cold enough for the ice to eject. So the freezer temperature will effect the eject rate.
