My Whirlpool refrigerator is not cooling things despite the fact I set up to the coolest position. I have already replaced the thermostat but that does not help. Any suggestions on what could be wrong which causes not to work properly?

Need more info.
What is not cooling fresh food and/or freezer?
What is running and what is not (fans, compressor etc.)
Is the any cooling or none at all?
Is compressor cycling, off or always on?
Is the compressor on and can you feel it vibrating?

Thanks, Denman for your reply and sorry for taking that long to reply with more info; had to deal with some other critical issues.

It is only the "fridge part" that is not cooling the juices, food, etc. The ice-maker/freezer works normally, and the compressor, fans all are okay. I checked the compressor, it is vibrating as normal. Since I replaced the old thermostat with a new one, could it be something else that causes the fridge not to work, maybe the "defrost Timer?

Are you sure you got it back together properly Check that the linkage (Items 11, 15 and 23 in Section 3) is opening the door of the diffuser (Item 24 in Section 10). This lets cold air into the fresh food side.

Also that the vent lower down on the wall between the freezer and fresh food sections is clear on both sides.

A defrost problem can show up first in the fresh food side and later in the freezer but it has been a while so I do not think it is a defrost problem.
