ice maker has been freezing at black fill tube coming out of the top of freezer. I have thawed it with hair dryer and it was working, but freezing again like every other day. Now the icemaker does not even cycle thru and call for water, and left frozen cubes in tray. I removed the whole unit cleaned and reinstalled. The arms that dispense the ice are still in the same position as when I reinstalled the unit. I am assuming that I need to replace the whole motor assembly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Defrost the inlet tube, replace the water inlet valve (it's bypassing the water and cause the tube to freeze). Make sure the icemaker is turned on The water valve Part number: W10408179

The icemaker is not cycling thru at all. I have not seen the part that ejects the ice move at all and I would usually hear the water kick on after cubes were dispensed. I have not heard unit call for water. Now what? Thank You!
