My GE refrigerator freezer cools very good. The problem is that it goes into defrost cycle every 2 hours for about 30 minutes. Its been doing this for a month now. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Hi.

Most likely you need to replace the main control board, located at the back of the fridge in the right lower corner behind the metal cover.

The board Part number: WR55X10942
Part number: WR55X10942

Unplug the fridge before work. Follow the instructions.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric PSS26MSRASS Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com
