Icemaker works, barely. Fills up with water and dumps full size cubes except it only dumps about 2-3 times a day so it's really slow. Temp is about as close to zero as you can get. Is this a icemaker thermostat issue or I have seen some suggest just replacing the whole icemaker but it's like $75 difference in price if I am looking at the parts correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

If it's an old refrigerator - replace the icemaker.

What determines old? It's 5.5yrs old.

The general recommendation is to replace the icemaker. You don't wish to repair it again if anything ells brakes soon. Here is the icemaker Part number: 4317943
