Freezer won't maintain temperature
I am trying to determine possible causes for freezer not maintaining temperature. I am constantly removing chunks of ice from ice bin after they have melted together. Drips from melting ice form and freeze on the wire racks. I have noticed that the light in the back flickers occasionally as well. The fridge appears to work fine. Not sure if it is thermostat, condenser or something else causing the issue...or is it time for a new unit?
Make sure the condenser coils on the back of the refrigerator are clean. Check if the fans inside the freezer and next to the compressor (on the back of the fridge) are working properly. Post the results.
