Hi everyone. My GE fridge has a bottom freezer and it is making gurgling noises. I have read that it could be a blocked drain plug. How do I get to the drain plug? Do I need to pull the fridge out? (it is a built in and very very heavy). Is this something I can fix myself? I had a repairman come and look at it and he told me there is restriction in the system and it is going to cost about $1600 for an over haul but I didn't believe him so I googled the problem and looks like he was trying to rip me off. Any help will be appreciated.

HI.
If there is no ice building up on the bottom of the freezer - the repairman may be right. If the sound doesn't effect the performance you may just ignore it.
Simon.

Thanks for your reply Simon. How would I know if there is an ice build up? Should I pull the panel off at the back of the freezer?

Look under the bottom drawer.
