Cond. Fan on the back of the freezer is making noise
Model Number: HTS17GBSERWW Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
It sounds like the noise is coming from the back of the freezer. It comes and goes randomly. When the noise comes, I just tap on the freezer area and it goes away. Any idea what may go wrong? what should I replace?

There are two fans which can cause a noise. One is inside the freezer (evaporator fan) and the other one is next to the compressor on the back of the refrigerator (condenser fan). Only you can determine which fan exactly is noisy.
