I noticed I was no longer getting ice and the freezer tray was dry. I used a hair dryer on the black filler spout into the freezer tray. It then filled up the freezer tray but will not eject the ice into the door. The ejector fingers are pointing to the door and slightly lower than horizontal. They are not in the ice. What triggers them to turn to eject? Is it worth tearing into the ice maker? Is there possibly a simple fix or is it likely better to replace it? I would love some troubleshooting steps.
