My name is Richard. New here. I am a service tech and am currently working on an Amana refrigerator. The control board got zapped by lightning and so i replaced the control board. Now the zeros light up on the board but it wont change temp. Part of the zero goes blank when pushing on the corresponding up/down button. Is the thermistor bad?

I fixed the problem.

I found an online service manual from another site. i was able to download it and found that I needed to set the program for my particular refrigerator. Once I did that, unplugged it and plugged it back in{rebooted}, It's now running.
I went ahead and installed an ice maker kit as well. I'll give it a few hours then move it inside from the garage.
