when the fridge compartment door is opened and closed, a "gurgle" noise is heard. It appears to come from the drain tube which enpties into the evaporator pan underneath. At first I thought it was one of the fans tipping the shroud but I proved this incorrect. It makes the noise with the ice maker on or off, water on or off, does not happen when the bottom freezer door is opened. Only last a short time, almost like when the vacuum seal is complete. I unclipped the drain hose from its retainer and let it hang down more and this stopped the noise for a couple of days but started back when we took some ice out of the maker pan. The ice maker was still turned off.

Ever heard of this problem before, any suggestion on what to try? I have already blown the drain line out with air.

Thanks for any suggestions. I hate to call the repair man out until I at least know it can be fixed.
