We have a KitchenAid side-by-side with ice and water dispenser. The water dispenser works fine, the ice maker works fine, but the ice dispenser has an issue. When trying to get ice, the lever (#11) is pushed in with a glass (like normal), but the flap or door (#7) in the guide (#12) that dispenses the ice comes forward only slightly and must be pulled forward all the way for the mechanism to kick in and dispense the ice. From this diagram and list of parts -- http://www.appliancepartspros.c...am_id=29174909#d29174909 -- would we need just the spring or better to get the whole kit? Or could the problem be something else?
