no voltage to defrost heater during defrost cycle
In refrigerator section my defrost heater reads 90 ohms on the 1k scale of my multi-meter, at no time does the heater get any voltage to it DURING DEFROST CYCLE.temperature sensor [da47-10148j. reads zero ohms when unpluged from socket but during defrost cycle this sensor has 120 voltage at socket i assume when plugged back in to the socket it would read closed circuit. temperature sensor [da32-00006b] reads 80 ohms out of circuit but does not have any voltage to it during defrost cycle. these part numbers come from the refrigerator diagram containing 32 parts and there part number.should the temperature sensor [da47-10148] read open circuit when un pluged from socket during the defrost cycle and a,m i correct to believe when plugged back in socket which has 120volts it would read closed circuit and function if good.[da32-00006b] temperature sensor when in circuit supposed to have voltage to it during the defrost cycle? something is preventing the defrost heater from getting the voltage to function.THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
