Maytag icemaker overfills
Model Number: MSD2756GE Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I forced cycled my ice maker using the jumper. The ice maker filled just fine, froze and ejected cubes as normal. When the ice maker refilled, it continued to fill til I shut the water off. I forced cycled the ice maker again and it filled just fine, ejected cubes as normal. Once again it went to refill the tray and continued to run. From reading other posts,it appears to be valve or ice maker. I am cheap and was hoping to get a definite answer as which part to replace so I don't have to replace both. Thanks
