Model Number: 17CAF Brand: -brand- Age: 1 - 5 years
Brand: Marvel Scientific
Model: 17CAF 17CAF - Marvel Scientic Refrigeration This freezer is currently being used for a research experiment but cannot maintain a constant low temperature. In prior experiments the freezer would cool to approx -24 C and remain at that temperature for over a week before it was allowed to warm back to room temperature. Now however the freezer is cycling between -24 C and -11 C on an approx 1 hr cycle. Both the temperature controller (Fridgidair 216788100) and the compressor have been replaced however the behavior continues. What would cause this type of behavior from a freezer. It was moved from one building to another before the temperature cycling started. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This problem was posted once before but a number of changes have occurred since then including the compressor being replaced. Sorry for double posting. Ads By Google Related Models |
