GE Refrigerator TFX27FH door assembly
Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
The part (I believe it's AP2067371) that separates the frig compartment from the compartment that opens on the door to my GE frig/freezer TFX27FH has come off because one of the 2 retaining plugs broke off. I'm told that the part is no longer available. I'm trying to epoxy the small broken plug back onto the part (the entire part is about 15 3/4" x 10 3/4 ") but I question how do I try to put the 2 plugs on the part back into the 2 holes in the door without breaking a plug again. The door section seems to have some play (plastic), so should I just try to spread it and force the plugs into the holes?
