my freezer wont freeze. i found that the evap fan will not come on so i took it out while still wired and turned unit on t-stat should have been calling for it to come on because i had had refrigerator off for about 2hrs. anyway it tried to come on because it would spin very slowly and it was huming very lightly also i had 13volts going to it but on different wires i had 7volts that threw me off a little but i thought for sure it was fan but then when pushing express chill on refrigerator side it comes on without a problem but that option only lasts for 15min 25min or 30min so after that evap fan will shut off freezing coil and not making freezer section very cold
what do you think is going on here ive never played around with refrigerator so i do not know what voltage the fan should be running at also what are all the wires for going into motor there is a blue, yellow, white, red different speeds or diffrent calls from t stat?
just found it strange that it will only turn on when pushing express chill other than that it will not run it is ge refrigerator model# pss26ngpaww

I would replace the motherboard AP4436216 and the evaporator fan motor, Check if this has a thermister in the motor plug or not, this site shows two part numbers based on this.
