My Kenmore fridge model 1069555722 is not cooling properly. I can hear it running but I've had it turned to the coldest setting for 24 hours or so and it's only at about 45 degrees. Cleaned the coils, etc; no help. It seems to cycle on and off like normal (doesn't run constantly), just doesn't get any colder. It's old (15 years or so) but I just had a big IRS bill and really can't afford a new one right now if I can help it. Any ideas? Thanks...

Are you sure it is 1059555722 and not a 1069555722
Nothing comes up when I look for a 105 number
Here are your parts if it is a 106 number

I am assuming that the temperature you give is for the freezer and not the fresh food section.
Verify that it is cycling normally, you can usually hear the compressor but you should be able to feel it vibrating and it should be warm.
If it is cycling then I would replace the temperature control thermostat.

Yes, it's 106, etc. I got it right in the message but wrong in the heading (I see I also misspelled "Kenmore" in the heading; it was late!

OK just wanted to be sure.

It does sound like the thermostat is not controlling the temperature correctly.
