I set the refrigerator fresh food compartment at 37 degrees, but the temperature will drop to 30 degrees and the food freezes. The freezer compartment is fine. What is causing this problem? Thanks

Remove the cover to the vent coming into the fresh food section, make sure the baffle is closing/opening (just turn the fridge off and the baffle should close if it's open, if it's closed set it to coldest setting and leave the fresh food door open for a few minutes). If not you may have a bad damper.

should be the part you want.

I removed the cover and noticed the baffle was not closing all the way. I removed the baffle and lubricated the baffle spindle and re-installed. It seems to be working now as the temperature is maintaining at 37 degrees. Have to wait and see. Thanks for the info.
