This is an update to earlier post about Ice maker poor output. After removing the ice maker and turning it off the fridge continues with this incessant noise.
Does anyone know what might be causing this and where I should begin for repairs in Sacramento, Ca. It is likely out of warranty as the chips fall and I could really use some professional direction as to what could be wrong with this. Is it eh fridge or is the Icemaker the cause. The icemaker has never been a good one for ice what I believe would be good ice output. Is this problem one that would be involving the pumping of water to the icemaker or is there another concern I should be aware of. Any suggestions?

Also what is the trick for getting the settings to hold and stay? An answer would be most welcome.:eek: Help please.

Thank you,
Diane
