Ice Maker won't stop
Model Number: DRS2662AW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
My ice maker won't stop. If I lift the arm to stop the water it is fine, but the part that pushes out the ice keeps moving. Because of this each time I have the water fill the tray, the little arms get stuck in the ice as it is freezing. I am not sure what to do or how to fix it. My husband thinks that we need a whole new ice maker, but I can't seem to find a place to get one. I have no idea how to fix it and will try anything. I would appreciate any help.

Separate parts for this ice maker are not available. You have to replace the whole ice maker.
- The part number for the ice maker is AP178365 Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana refrigerator Model DRS2662AW Gene.
